My enthusiasm is guarded, but I definitely don’t like the idea of trying to upgrade Eden Park. Let it go already! Anyway, those pics are kinda nice but a bit too happy happy bright bright for myself – reminds me of Skype.

Riiiggghhtt. Pictures of a stadium remind you of a voice over IP telephone service?
My feelings are that the people who say it costs too much are visionless and need to understand that a country needs big, exciting projects just as much as it needs another 500 million on healthcare (or more, in my opinion).
And the people who say it’s an eyesore are probably the same people that said the skytower is an eyesore. It kind of is, but it’s a big part of what Auckland is, and a big drawcard for tourists.
