As reported by 1up and originally by The Sacramento Bee, two Gamestop employees (who may or may not have been blocked from buying a PS3) faked the theft of four PS3′s by a “masked gunman”.
Their plan fell apart as police were soon able to see through the lies of two desperate teenagers (probably through a lack of this actually happening on the security cameras).
The boys were charged with some hefty crimes, such as embezzlement, burglary, conspiracy and filing a false police report.
So this all leads to the conclusion, that they may be able to fund their legal fees by selling rights to GT-PS3, the story of two boys, who became men as they did their time for stealing PS3′s. Upon being released from jail they live a life of PS3-related crime, going from BB-Gun queue shooting, to crash and run PS3 thefts, to embezzlement and burglary.
I can see it now…
